Air Force training jet crashes in Uttara, one dead
A training aircraft has crashed in Uttara, Dhaka. The incident occurred this afternoon (Monday) in the Milestone College area of Uttara.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crashed in Uttara. The aircraft took off at 1:06 pm.
A video of the incident has been circulating on social media, but no detailed information about the footage has been confirmed yet.
A senior official at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport confirmed the incident but did not provide immediate details regarding casualties or the cause of the crash.
Tarique Rahman instructs BNP men to go to scene and assist injured
BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has instructed Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, Chhatra Dal, and the BNP Health Team to immediately go to the scene and assist the injured.
One person has been confirmed dead in the crash involving a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft. Shortly after 2 PM, Lima Khan, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room, stated that four injured individuals were airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) by a Bangladesh Air Force helicopter.
